Student of Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), 1st year MSc degree, Building Service Engineer.
1. Why did you join the Odooproject?
Some time ago I wanted to take part in a bigger professional contest, always just test and exams? Then I met with the recruiting of BME?s evolving Solar Decathlon Team. What could be more ambitious for a university student than a world-wide competition?! Besides, I was also excited about the bumpy road of cooperation with other professional disciplines.ű
2. What are you doing in the project right now?
According to my speciality I take part in the design of the house?s building service (HVAC). Currently we are working on the development of mechanical system and the circuit diagram. In addition, as I?m accountable for engineering division I have many logistic tasks.
3. What do you expect from the future? What are you doing besides the competition?
The experience gained during the university, that I can take part in a real work, the design of such a house, which will exist not only on paper ? like my homework ? is invaluable. After university it will be really useful that I can work student from other disciplines and we need to find solutions for the arising problems together.
After finishing the BSc Diploma I was admitted to a Master?s Degree, so I don?t leave this filed, I?m continuing my studies as Building Service Engineer. I also would like to immerse in the numerical simulation of flows, I hope I will have time and energy for this, besides my MSc studies.
In my free time I love make myself tired by active sport. I achieve this mainly with basketball and tennis. For my brain?s rest there is the music, what I love listening irrespectively from styles and I can also play a little bit.
4. In your opinion, how will we participate in the competition? What do you think, what is the most difficult part of the project?
The composition of team is very diverse; every area has its own specialist, so there is no bungling. Thanks to the team-building programs we get on well with each other, which help us in the professional downturns, and this is really great! There is no shortage in intellectual capital and if it won?t be in finances as well, than I trust in a very good result! I would be happy if we could end up in the first half of the field, finishing in top five would be dreamlike.
5. What results and merits have you achieved during your studies, tell me about it.
In the past few years, expect from university examinations, I don?t take part in professional competitions, but now with Solar Decathlon I cut off more than I can chew on human and professional side as well. I also would like to participate in the Scientific Student Conference with my work done in the project.
