1. Why did you join the project?

Curiosity. On the one hand, as an energy engineer the topic of solar energy drew up my attention and I felt that I can be useful for the team; on the other hand I?m curious about how can we carry out such a large-scaled construction project. Sometimes I?m still wondering, but I rely on my teammates and as the phrase says many a little makes a mickle.

2. What are you doing in the project right now?

I?m working in the HVAC (heating, cooling, and ventilation) team and I have several smaller tasks.  Mostly I take part in the collective work and help where I can. In addition, I?m dealing with the measurement of the own-built solar panels? temperature; and I keep updated our pictures on the Picasa account because I take a lot of pictures on the meetings and being up-to-date is important for me.

3. What do you expect from the future? What are you doing besides the project?

From the near future I expect that everything will go well with the house and build on our area of expertise and knowledge we will get from an all aspects deliberate house, what can be accessible thanks to the several different university faculties. From the far future I will expect a good transition between study and work, but I haven?t thought about it a lot, because I?m not there yet.

Besides the project I assist in the life of the local Protestant church and I?m also a member of a theatre group. Instead of public transportation I mostly use my bike, otherwise I could hardly spend time on doing sports; and as we know everybody needs to do some sports.

4. In your opinion, how will we participate in the competition? What do you think, what is the most difficult part of the project?

There are many teams and we will be evaluated by many aspects, so I hope that we will participate well. It?s hard to predict a year before the end, because there is a lot of work with the house and still we don?t know how it will look like.  But in any case, if we continue our work as we do now, then we will be ready on time and have a super house. The most difficult part seems to me the acquisition of the necessary financial support, but primarily I?m not dealing with these, so maybe my concern is unnecessary. If the money problems are solved, then the next most difficult part is the construction of the house that it will be look like the planned-one.

5. What results and merits have you achieved during your studies, tell me about it.

Speaking about my achievements in school I would rank myself among the average students. I?m trying to be strict with myself, if it goes about studying, so my goals are always placed on high, because this couple of years of studying could be crucial if we see in the future. But besides the technical thinking I find essential to regularly deal with other things that I?m interested in. In this way I can get to know people with different thoughts and have a better view on the world.
