Gábor Ádám- OdooFace
Student of Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), 1st year Msc degree, Electrical Engineer.
1.Why did you join the project?
At the Electrical Engineering Faculty I?m interested in most the usage of renewable energy. I have also chosen the topic of my thesis work from this area. I think this competition is a good opportunity to improve existing technologies and to invent new, energy-efficient solutions. In addition, the teamwork has also attracted me that I can work with students from other faculties in a project, which is realized not only on paper, but in the reality, as well.
2. What are you doing in the project right now?
The electrical engineering team is responsible for the planning of the Odoo?s electricity system, which includes in the solar system on the roof, feeding back to the network and the energy storage. In particular, now we are working on a program, with which we can predict very accurate in given circumstances the production and the losses of the different types of solar cells and in different placement.
3. What do you expect from the future? What are you doing besides the project?
The competition is a very good opportunity, I can work in a great team, get to know the work of other students disciplines and develop a good relationship with my teammates. So I build my social capital, which is very important in today?s world of business. I hope casino online after the competition I will have the opportunity to work together with my teammates as colleagues, and I would like to keep this good relationship with everyone.
Besides the project I do sport regularly, I?m playing tennis. With my friends and with my girlfriend we play bowling, billiard and go cycling, just to mention a few. I try to spend as much time as possible with my family as well. In the summers, we go together scuba-diving, play cards or board.
4. In your opinion, how will we participate in the competition? What do you think, what is the most difficult part of the project?
In my opinion, it is a very well coordinated team; we overcome every obstacle with will and creativity. Therefore, I believe that in 2012 we can achieve a very good place in the competition.
Of course, as always, the money is the bottleneck in the project, but I?m confident that the sponsors will be impressed by our plans, so there will be no problem.
5. What results and merits have you achieved during your studies, tell me about it.
In the elementary school and as well in the secondary grammar school I was an excellent student. I worked hard for it, but I got the results. I entered for every math competitions, and generally I performed well. At the university things are slightly different. I try my best to prepare for the exams and not leave home with the tranquillity of underdogs.
During the elementary and grammar school years I found some really good friends with whom I keep contact on weekly basis. We help each other and always can count on each other. I try to be fair in work and life as well. My principle is ?live and let live?. I?m always happy for the successes of my friends, because I know, if somebody wants to achieve results with honest work, there is a hard work behind it. I?m sure that all of my teammates can experience success in the competition. I?m lucky to participate in this project.
