The Solar Decathlon competition conquered a new, continent-sized country, China. The first Solar Decathlon China will be held in 2013. The memorandum was signed by the U.S. Department of Energy, China?s National Energy Administration and Peking University in February 2011. The antecedent of the decision was that President Obama and Chinese President Hu discussed about climate change, clean (green) energy and the environment; and signed contracts about environmental protection. The Chinese Solar Decathlon shows the growing global interest in Solar Decathlon and its recognition.
