During the past two weeks less spectacular but serious and important tasks have been completed. At first the air-handling unit was built in, actually it has its own room. It’s huge because of the strict rules of the competition, in the everydays a unit like this doesn’t have to be so enormous, but this one has to fulfill special requirements.
We fixed the vapor control layer hopefully correctly, and the waterproofing as well. When we were certain that the layers joint properly the application of the formwork sheets started. The installation of the tubes and wires of the engineers and the electrical engineers was maybe the most precise work so far, consulting constantly with the construction expert team members. The team members spend day after day working on the site, they do a really hard job, take night shifts if necessary, with no complaint, we believe any company would hire them immediately. This week begun with the blow of the cellulose insulation , at this time we could barely move in the construction hall, it was so full with all the materials arrived to the site so far. That’s not the reason, but it was quite useful to move the house outside, so all these materials can have their places now. The real reason of moving the house is that the PV panels will be installed to the roof soon, so the electric power generation can begin. Hopefully by the 6th August Odoo will start to generate electricity, and the electrical and engineering systems can be checked, monitored and the automation system will start functioning.
