We’ve just uploaded the 5th Deliverable and had a good night of sleep, when we found ourselves on Odoo-field again. We visited the construction site of the forecoming construction works : a huge industrial hall of the North Vehicle Repair Plant with almost a 150 years history. The plant is in the property of Hungarian State Railways (MÁV) since the 1870′s. That time it was the biggest and most significant railway-repair in the whole country. By 1885 a 20.000 sqm hall was built for the reparation of steam locomotives, and by the end of the II. World War over 400 steam locomotives had been repaired there. By 1944 the number of the workers reached 2600, and in 1967 a new hall was built on 22.000 sqm. for diesel vehicle reparations.
For Douglas Adams fans we have great news: our hall is the “no.42 Diesel-Hall”. The team discovered the building, and on the 4th of June we will move in. Before the beginning of the construction we have a few preliminary tasks to complete: cover the repair pits because we won’t need them, we have to build fence-walls made of gypsum plasterboards within the hall, and install the 0-24 hours security system.
By the date June 4th all the units and elements must arrive to this location.
