* The original title of this post is a hardly tanslatable joke. Referring to the well-know proverb “birds of a feather flock together”, it literally says: birds of a feather, Odoo of a crane – as crane means the bird and the machine both.

Saturday, 3a.m.: the trucks with the modules of the Odoo house finally arrived to their final destination: the central building of our university, and we could start the last craning process of this season.

In the morning (3a.m.) we were still alone with the foundings.

Not much later: the trucks arrived, and we started to unwrap our oversized gift from Madrid.

The craning was more difficult than as it was in Madrid. The special trucks with the modules couldn’t enter the gate of the university, we had to have a transfer-truck: we craned the modules to another truck above the gate, and this other truck transported the elements within the gate to the actual site of the construction.

Matching the elements was like a daily routine, a few more construction and we could reach nanometer precision.
