Due to the tradition the Week of Creativity ended at midday on Friday when various departments and heads of departments summarized and evaluated the works produced by students. The works will be exhibited in the following week at the Central building. Inside the 1:1 Odoo model placed in the main hall we are organizing a series of educational programs next week for a wide range of visitors from primary school pupils to university students. An example is here.
The built model- apart from the decoratively covered walls made from recycled materials- very useful for us to perceive the inner space of the planned size of our house. Also we’ll use it to test is a arrangement schemes, usage of furniture, tests of ergonomics.
This installation is actually the place of an other exhibition: the best works of the international urbanistic design contest: REA (Réseau des Écoles d’Architecture). This year it’s the 16th annual reunion of the Network of Educational Institutions of Architecture (REA), the annual topic is: Sustainable redevelopment of historic city-centers in Europe. Since it’s an international organization, several visitors are expected from all over Europe.
